  • Pre-treatment for HIGHLY ABSORBANT materials, such as sandstone, limestone, quartzite, concrete stone, terracotta and many more, before applying Finalit impregnations. 
  • Basic protection against stains and soiling. 
  • Consolidator.
  • Use pre-treatment if a underfloor heating is installed. 
  • Use pre-treatment before laying and jointing. 
  • Jointing aid. Bonding agent. Limestone hardener (pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt). 
  • Sandstone hardener (Petra in Jordan). 

Important! As a pre-treatment for all sides (including edges) before laying, especially suitable for avoiding efflorescence, stains and joint edge discolouration. 

Advantage of treatment on all sides: 

  • Grouting aid
  • Prevents the penetration of moisture and soiling
  • Prevents curling
  • Prevents discolouration & flaking caused by salt, metals and frost.
  • Prevents the penetration of adhesives / silicone with slabs 
  • Makes cleaning easier 
  • Protection for subsequent work, such as painter, carpenter, etc. Does not replace the need of covering against mechanical damage! The drying time is approx. 1 hour. The curing time is 24 hours. 

Can be diluted 1:3 with water. 1 litre is sufficient for up to 50 m², on all sides 20 m², depending on the absorbing properties of the sub-surface.

Product Info

For HIGHLY ABSORBANT materials

• Bonding agent / hardener
• Can be applied on damp surfaces
• The fungicide is available in a 5-litre container / reduces the formation of algae
• No fungicide in 1-litre containers
• Breathable / de-icing salt resistant
• Important! As a pre-treatment for all sides (including edges) before laying, especially suitable for preventing efflorescence, stains and joint edge discolouration.
Suitable for all natural and artificial stones!

Application

• Can be diluted 1:3 with water.
• 1 litre is sufficient for up to 50 m², on all sides 20 m², depending on the absorbing properties of the surface.
• Pre-clean with the respective Finalit cleaner
• Then thoroughly rinse with water
• Apply the Finalit No. 21S Pores Filler onto the clean surface by spraying, rolling on or painting
• Can be applied on the damp surface
• The drying time is approx. 1 hour. The curing time is 24 hours.
• A subsequent impregnation is recommended
• You need to make your own tests
• For all natural and artificial stones!

Pro Tips

• Especially suitable for the pre-treatment of Chinese granite, basalt or all materials before being laid in order to prevent water being absorbed and a resulting efflorescence / stain formation in the future.
• Coat on all sides.
• Easy removal of any grouting material residues.
• Can be diluted from at least 1:1 to max.1:3, never use undiluted porphyry 1:3, Chinese granite (diorite, basalt) 1:1
• If a silky gloss forms, matt with a brown pad, possible dry
